Measure: complete-task quality, latency, provider calls, retained bytes and total operating cost. Lower call counts alone do not measure general intelligence.

24 September: paired comparison against a two-call API workflow; 32/32 exact results in both routes.
20 October follow-up: 300/300 exact local answers and 100/100 safe controls. A separate 10.61× complete-process comparison uses 237 mutually correct tasks against a one-call API route.

The 17 October versioned-data comparison retained 57.3% fewer logical bytes than trained Zstandard and 37.9% fewer than compacted Borg. All 9,216 fresh reconstruction checks passed. The evidence includes retained data, physical allocation and complete processing time, so the storage and speed trade-offs can be assessed together.
